TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Four members of the Florida State men's tennis team head to the Meadowood Napa Valley Resort this weekend to begin the 2013-14 tennis season. Joined by five other schools, the Seminoles look to win a Challenger wild card at the Napa Valley Tennis Classic hosted by Cal.
"We feel very honored to be playing the Napa Tournament," said head coach Dwayne Hultquist. "It's one of the best tournaments in the country as far as atmosphere and how it's run with the USTA and Cal. We've got great competition this weekend and we look forward to the challenge of playing against them in a great environment and coming back with some great wins."
Cotrone, a junior, looks to begin the season just like he finished last year, by upsetting higher ranked opponents. Lock, also a junior, is ready to build off of his sophomore season where he went 21-15.
Nunez, a transfer from Georgia, makes his garnet and gold debut while Rinaldi went 23-10 last year.
