GREENSBORO, N.C.- Florida State junior Jean-Yves Aubone added an academic honor to his list of accomplishments in 2008 by being named to the All-ACC Academic Men's Tennis Team on Thursday, July 24.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
Aubone, a sport management major, completed the 2008 season by earning All-America honors as well as a top 20 finish in the ITA rankings in both singles and doubles. The Miami, Fla. native has been competing on the Futures tour during the summer months and has made the finals in two consecutive events including a win at the Futures event in Peoria, Ill.
