TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State men's tennis team will be looking to advance to 12-3 on the season as they take on the Sun Devils of Arizona State University Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. The Seminoles enter the match-up with an 11-3 record and are enjoying a four-match win streak. Three of those wins have come in conference play and two of the wins have come against ranked opponents, most recently over no. 55 Clemson.

The Seminoles only previous match against Arizona State came in 1986. The Sun Devils won that contest 9-0. This season, the Sun Devils enter the match with a 6-4 record. The team features two players ranked in the Omni Hotels Collegiate Tennis Rankings in singles. Freshman Clinton Letcher is ranked 111th in the rankings and boasts a record of 7-3 in dual match play. Also ranked for the Sun Devils is junior Matt Klinger is also 7-3 on the season and is ranked 131st in the Rankings. The tandem of Klinger and Mitchell Bowen are also ranked in the doubles rankings for ASU.

Florida State also has a player and doubles team ranked in the latest rankings. Senior Xavier Luscan is ranked 41st in singles and 37th in doubles with teammate Rodrigo Laub.

The Seminoles will take the next week off before traveling to Gainesville to take on the Gators of the University of Florida on March 23rd. That match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
