MEN'S TENNIS PREPARES TO HOST VANDERBILT ON TUESDAY

Seminoles hope to keep the momentum going after upset victory over Virginia.

TALLAHASSEE, FL.-- After the 4-3 upset win over ACC rival Virginia on Friday, the Florida State men's tennis team will prepare to host another ranked opponent, as they take on No. 41 Vanderbilt on Tuesday, March 6th at 3:30 p.m.

The Seminoles improved their record to 5-5 on the season while the Commodores currently stand at 6-3 for the year. These two teams have only played each other once before in dual match competition. That match took place back in 1987 with the Commodores coming out on top.

Next, the Florida State men's tennis team will go on the road for some tough competition against NC State, Wake Forest and Southern Methodist University before returning home to take on Texas Saturday, March 17th at 1 p.m.

WOMEN'S TENNIS WILL HOST MICHIGAN STATE ON TUESDAY

Seminoles take on the Spartans in tenth match of the season.

TALLAHASSEE, FL.--The Florida State women's tennis team are set to play Michigan State on Tuesday, March 6th at 2:30 p.m. at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center. The match marks the first meeting ever between the two schools in dual match play.

No. 40 Florida State improved their record to 4-5 with a win over South Florida on Wednesday, while Michigan State, coached by former FSU assistant Tim Bauer, stands at 4-6 for the year.

After the match with the Spartans, the Florida State women's tennis team will get ready to host Marquette University on Thursday, March 8th at 1:30 p.m.
