Seminoles fall to No. 49 Alabama

TALLAHASSEE, FL--The Florida State men's tennis team traveled to Tuscaloosa, Ala. Sunday February 11th for a match up against No. 49 Alabama.

In singles play Rodrigo Laub, who played at the No. 4 position, fell to Stephen Mitchell, going 5-7, 7-5, (7-10), while teammate Romain Jurd who played for the Noles at the No. 2 position fell to Chris Gostek in straight sets, 5-7, 3-6.

The men lost the doubles point after only winning one of the three doubles matches.

The Seminoles will return home to prepare for an upcoming weekend long Seminole Spring Tournament. The tournament will begin on Friday, February 16th at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center.
