TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State men's tennis defeated conference foe N.C. State 5-2 Saturday at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center in Tallahassee. With the win, the Seminoles improve their record to 11-3 overall and 2-2 in the ACC. Florida State began the match capturing the doubles point by taking two of the three matches. Winning for FSU was No. 2 Davidson Kozlowski and Yvo Niks, 8-2, and No. 3 Michael Ingham and Jay Travis 8-0. In singles action, Florida State took four of the six points. Leading the way was No. 2 Ty Braswell. He defeated Keith Salmon in straight sets 6-1, 6-4. Other winners were No. 4 Michael Ingham, No. 5 Steve Weinstein and No. 6 Davidson Kozlowski.
