Returns to the team after missing last of three upperclassmen who should provide leadership to a young team...solid all-around player with valuable excellent doubles player.

1998-99: sat out to attend to some personal business.

1997-98: Primarily played doubles during the spring...started 17 matches with Mike Ingham at No. 3 doubles...played seven matches at No. 6 singles and won five of nine dual matches...competed in the pre-qualifying rounds at the ITA National Hardcourt Championships...defeated Central Florida's Esteban Garcia at the Seminole Fall Classic before pulling out of the tournament with an injury.

1996-97: Went undefeated throughout the entire 1996-97 season with a record of 9-0...won all five matches at No. 6 singles during the spring...also won all four of his fall singles matches, including his flight championship at the 1996 Clemson Fall Classic...teamed with Murphy Payne and Antonio Prieto at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles...defeated nationally-ranked Bibby and Cassiagne of Georgia Tech 8-6 at No. 1 doubles with Prieto...went 3-0 in doubles with Joe Carnley during the fall...named to the All-ACC Academic Honor Roll.

High School and other accomplishments: Lettered in tennis all six years at Bradenton Christian...also named the team's captain and MVP all six years...defeated ATP players Josean Frontera, Kevin Camp and Oliver Gross...trained at Nick Bolleteiri, Joe Brandi and Steve Seibole tennis schools...participated in the USTA International Grass and Hardcourt touranments...also played in the Orange and Sugar Bowl tournaments...ranked as high as No. 6 in the state U-16 singles and Top 50 in the nation...a member of the National Honor Society...and F.C.A.

Personal: Majoring in communication...son of Ron and Gail Travis...grandfather played professional baseball...sister, Christy, plays for FSU's women's tennis team...named to the Dean's List in each of the past three years...born October 9, 1977.
