HULTQUIST ON GUSTAV: “ Gustav has had some real good wins the summer and has gotten himself in better shape. We would like to see him be a little more aggressive, come up to the net more and get a little quicker.”

2000-01: Opened up his first spring season with the Seminoles on a four match winning streak with teammate Alex Herrera…Bucht finished his doubles season with a record of 8-9, going 2-1 at both the No. 2 and 3 positions…played primarily at the No. 1 and 2 positions in singles play for Florida State…

Highschool, Junior College and other accomplishments: Received a highest junior ranking of No. 12 and was ranked among the top 100 men in his native country of Sweden. Won the Swedish Outdoor Team Championship in '98. Was a National Team Champion and All- American with Georgia Perimeter in '98 and a runner-up for the national title in doubles that same year. Lost only two matches in his one year at Georgia Perimeter.

Personal: Celebrates a July 25th birthday...nickname is "Gus"...plays right-handed...lives with teammate Bartosz Koldej...received a bachelor in MIS from University in Sweden...currently a Masters Student.
