Junior Year: Drew Bailey has quietly become one of the Seminole's most consistent doubles players. The Tallahassee native's big serve and terrific net game have made him an ideal partner year in and year out which is evident with his 51 career doubles victories. Bailey along with partner Brad Mixson dominated the No. 3 position in 2008 with a 17-5 record. Career Highlights
High School and Other Accomplishments: Bailey reached at least the quarterfinals of seven different tournaments...In July of 2004, he advanced to the quarterfinals of the National Clay Court Championships with playing partner Michael Venus...A month prior the duo won the doubles title at the Florida Open in Ft. Meyers... In 2003 he and partner Nick Meros advanced to the semifinals of the Florida Open with Bailey reaching the quarterfinals in the singles draw...Two months earlier he was a semifinalist at the Gator Bowl in Ponte Vedra, Fla...In 2002, he and Meros teamed up to win the doubles title at the USTA National Open while reaching the final bout in the USTA Tennis Florida Juniors...Baily reached as high as No. 20 in the FTA boys' 16 and under ratings... Bailey played on the 16's junior intersectional team and chosen as a member of the boys' 18's Davis Cup Junior team...A three-year letter winner at North Florida Christian, Bailey transferred to Lincoln High School during his senior season.
