2002: Turned in a spectacular freshman campaign that included ACC titles and a trip to the NCAA Championships …will look to defend his conference crown in 2003…qualified and competed at the NCAA Championships in three events…top finish at NCAA’s was 17th on the platform, followed by a 18th-place finish on the three-meter and a 28th-place finish on the one-meter… swept ACC title on the one- and three-meter boards to earn ACC Most Valuable Diver honors…earned All-ACC honors at the conference meet…broke Olympic gold medalist and former Seminole great Phil Boggs’ school record on the three-meter with a score of 363.85…named the team’s Most Valuable Diver…placed third on the one- and three-meter at the Georgia Invitational… finished fourth on the platform at the Georgia Invitational…earned first-place finishes on the one-meter against Maryland, James Madison/William & Mary, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Indian River C.C., FAU and Alabama …placed first on the three-meter in dual meets against nationally ranked Florida, Maryland, James Madison/ William & Mary, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Indian River C.C., FAU and LSU/UL-Monroe…placed second on the three-meter against Alabama and on the one-meter vs. Florida.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 1999 and 2000 All-American in diving…placed first in 1M and 3M diving at 2001 West Junior Nationals…also finalist in platform at Junior Nationals.

PERSONAL: Son of Alan and Grace Gagnet…born May 17, 1983…named to principal’s honor roll in 1999 and 2000…majoring in business… greatest diving memory is placing fifth in one-meter div-ing at 2000 Senior Nationals.
