2003-04: Swam the butterfly leg of the Seminoles winning 200
medley relay at the ACC Championships (Feb. 25-26), earning the
first All-ACC honors of his career...Scored valuable points at the
league meet with a trio of swims in the consolation finals...Posted
an NCAA "B" cut and career-best time of 48.55, ranked sixth in the
ACC, to take seventh in the 100 butterfly. Time ranks as the ninthfastest
in school history...Also placed seventh with a personalbest
time of 44.95--the seventh-fastest time in the league last
year--in the 100 free...Third top-16 finish was a ninth-place
showing in the 50 free (20.42)...Leadoff split of 20.38 in the 200
free relay was a personal-best and ranked sixth in the
conference...Member of the second-place 200 free and 400
medley relays...Scored three top-five finishes at the Texas A&M
Fall Invitational (Nov. 21-23), including a third-place mark of 45.27
in the 100 free. Meet also saw him produced a fourth-place finish
in the 100 fly while hitting the wall in fifth during the 50
free...Recorded 12 top-three finishes during the dual meet
season...Excelled in the classroom, earning ACC Academic Honor
Roll accolades.
2002-03: Earned co-Most Improved Swimmer honors as awarded
by the coaching staff...Swam on the 400-free relay team that

time of 2:57.67...Member of the 800-free relay squad that finished
fourth at the ACC meet with a team-best time of 6:41.75...Seasonbest
50-free time of 20.71 came in an 11th-place finish at the
league championships ...Scored points with a 13th-place finish in
the 100-free with a time of 45.43...Swam at the time the tenth
fastest 100-fly time in school history, going 49.10 at the ACC
meet...Member of two wining relays (200 medley and 400 free) at
the Georgia Invitational (Dec. 6-8), while also finishing third in the
100-free (45.08) and sixth in the 100-fly (49.70)...Earned two relay
victories during the dual meet season...Took part in the winning
200-medley relay team against Indian River (Nov. 9) and 200-free
relay team against UNC-Wilmington (Jan. 4).
2001-02: Garnered ACC Swimmer of the Week honors on January
4...Won the consolation final for a ninth-place finish in the 100
butterfly at the ACC meet...Also placed 20th in the 100 free at the
conference meet...Member of the second-place 400 free relay at
the Georgia Invitational, while swimming on the fourth place 200
medley and 200 free relays that placed eighth...Notched three top
15 individual finishes at the meet, topped by an 11th place mark
in the 100 freestyle...Turned in the second-fastest FSU times of
the season in the 200 free (1:41.76) and 100 butterfly
(49.73)...Anchored the winning 400 free relay against nationallyranked
Florida...Placed first in the 100 and 200 free against
Georgia Tech...Took first place honors in the 100 free and 100 fly
versus UNC-Wilmington...Earned ACC Academic Honor Roll
accolades.
HIGH SCHOOL: Swam all four years at Pine Crest under coach Jay
Fitzgerald...All-American in the 100 fly...Two-time state champion
in the 100 fly and 200 medley relay...All-County in the 100 fly, 200
medley and 400 free relays...Won 100 fly and 100 free at the
conference championships to go along with top honors in both
events at the district meet...Team MVP his senior season...Florida
Merit Scholarship award recipient.
