TAMPA, Fla. - Junior Mark Sestilio leads the Seminoles with a two-round total of 143 and is in a tie for 18th in the individual standings entering Tuesday's third and final round.

Georgia Tech, ranked fifth in the latest GolfWeek Magazine rankings, fired rounds of 272 and 283 and leads the field of 15 teams at 21-under par after the first two rounds of the tournament. Arkansas is second at nine-under, while tournament co-host Florida is third with a total of 568 at the par 72, 7,036-yard course. John Assey of the College of Charleston is the individual leader at nine-under after rounds of 67 (-5) and 68 (-4).

Sestilio (Punta Gorda, Fla.) tied his career low round score with a 70 in the second round. It marked the second time during his Seminole career he had fired a 70 after reaching the mark during the second round of spring 2003 Seminole Intercollegiate. Sestilio lowered his score by three strokes in the second round after carding a 73 through the first 18 holes.

Junior Matt Adcock (Apopka, Fla.) was very consistent during both rounds as he turned in a pair of even par scores of 72. He entered the event as the Seminole with the lowest average - 73.50 - during the first two tournaments of the fall season. Adcock has carded three of his seven rounds this fall at 72 or better.

Junior Rusty Mosley (Vidalia, Ga.) is tied for 37th with a 36-hole total of 147. A pair of Seminoles - Brad Lusenhop and Alan Beers - are competing in their first tournaments of the season. Lusenhop (Gloversville, N.Y.) carded scores of 76 and 74 while Beers (Warner Robbins, Ga.) scored 75 and 77 during his play Monday.

The third and final round - a shotgun start - is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
