On Sluman: Will look to earn his way into the Seminoles' line-up after earning a good taste of Division I golf as a freshman...played in three events in his first season as a member of the Seminoles' golf team as he participated in three events - all as an individual player...his experience in his first season will allow him to have a jump on his teammates as he looks to crack the starting five...best event of his first season came in the Florida State hosted Seminole Intercollegiate where he carded his career bests for a single round (71), 36 holes (149), tournament (220) and individual finish (tie for 38th)...began to learn course management under head coach Trey Jones...strikes the ball well and possess a strong putting game... a student of the game who enjoyed a strong junior golf career...earned Future Collegians World Tour All-American First Team honors in 2010...the 2007 City of Los Angeles Junior Champion with scores of 71-74-68...teamed with his father, Wayne, to win the prestigious 2009 Father/Son Team Classic in Myrtle Beach, SC...averaged 76.22 strokes in nine rounds during three tournaments during his freshman season...

Fall 2010: Played in one event - the Gary Koch Invitational - as an individual and finished as the fifth highest finishing Seminole player of the six Florida State player who participated in the event...carded a near career low score of 72 in the second round for his first career score at par or better and first career score at 75 or better...tied for his best 36 hole score of 149 in the first two rounds of the Gary Koch...averaged a career-best 75.67 strokes in three round during one tournament...

Spring 2011: Played in a single season career high two tournaments as he enjoyed his best career season...earned career best all across the board...earned his best single round score (71) in the third round of the Seminole Intercollegiate, his best 36 hole score (149) in the Seminole Intercollegiate, his best tournament score (220) in the Seminole Intercollegiate and his best individual finish (tied for 38th) in the Seminole Intercollegiate...three scores at 75 or better for his first time in career (75-74-71) also at the Seminole Intercollegiate...averaged 76.50 strokes in six rounds during two events...

Before Florida State: Graduated from the Pendleton School at the David Leabetter Academy in 2010...was the Most Valuable Player of the golf team at Huntington Beach High School in California during his freshman and sophomore seasons before finishing his prep career at the Ledbetter Academy...the 2010 FCWT IMG Academies individual champion in 2010...earned medalist honors at the HJGT Leadbetter Season Junior Open with a score of two under par 142...earned a pair of top five finishes at the FCWT Naples Beach Open (third) and the FCWT Tampa Challenge (fifth place)...a tied for fourth place at the 2009 Charles Howell Junior Championships with scores of 73-71-71...finished his pre-collegiate career with one top five and five Top 25 finishes in eight AJGA events, two wins and six Top 10 finishes in 9 FCWT starts and one win in one start on the HJGT tour...
