Redshirt Sophomore Season: Spring 2012 - A member of the Seminoles' line-up at the 2012 NCAA Championship Finals...helped the Seminoles earn their seventh consecutive bid to the NCAA Championship tournament as he played in four events - three as a member of the Seminoles' line-up and a fourth as an individual participant...inserted into the Seminoles' National Championship line-up after an injury to Doug Letson just a week before the championship...had to get himself back into tournament mode after defeating teammate Kyle Cobb in a playoff to move into the line-up...a sensational round of even par 71 in the first round of the National Championship Finals...his round of 71 tied for the team lead and helped the Seminoles into a five-way tie for sixth place in the team standings after the first round of the event...second-best finish of his career - and second top 15 finish of his career - as he finished in a tie for 14th place at the Gator Invitational for his best performance of the spring season...three scores of 73 or better (73-72-72), the best tournament score of his sophomore season (217) and his best individual placement (tied for 14th) in helping the Seminoles to a fifth place finish in the team standings at the Gator Invitational...best single round score of the season came as a one under par score of 70 in the first round of the Seminole Intercollegiate...averaged 74.67 strokes in nine rounds during three tournaments. Freshman Season: Spring 2010 - A redshirt member of the Florida State men's golf team.
Before Florida State: Graduated from Markham College High School in 2009...competed at a high level on the American Junior Golf Association including seven tournaments in 2009 where he finished in second place at the Scott Robertson Tournament...finished in 10th place in the AJGA Junior Open...ranked 90th in the world among male amateur golfers in the world...also an avid tennis player and is the 35th ranked player in his signing class...won the Mexican Amateur Championship in 2009...finished as the runner-up at the Lima International Amateur in 2009 as he recorded a 65 in the final round of the event...carded scores of 71-69-74-65 to finish at minus nine for the event as he recorded only 29 shots in the back nine during his round of 65 to close out the event...runner-up at the South American Junior Championship in Argentina in 2009...set course record with 64 in the first round of the Scott Robertson Memorial Tournament in finishing as the runner-up in the event in 2009...runner-up at the Brazilian Amateur with scores of 73-73-69-65 in 2009.
