Fall 2007: Played in three of the Seminoles' four events and helped lead the team to the championship of the Inverness Intercollegiate to mark the first team championship for Florida State since 1998...played his best event of the fall season as finished with a 219 total, a plus six strokes over par score and in a tie for 14th place - each of those statistics were the best his fall season...carded an even par 71 in the first round and a one-over par 72 in the third round of the event...helped Florida State to a top-10 team finish at the PING / GolfWeek Preview and a fourth place finish at the Fighting Illini Invitational ...averaged 75.44 strokes in nine rounds during three tournaments...

Spring 2008: One of Florida State's top golfers who earned four top-15 individual finishes in leading the Seminoles to two victories - The Seminole Intercollegiate and the ACC Championship...earned a single-season career-high two top-10 individual finishes with a tied for sixth placing at the Gator Invitational and a tied for ninth finish at the Seminole Intercollegiate...ranked third on the team with a career-low 73.94 stroke average...also third on the team with 10 rounds at par or better, 20 rounds with scores at 75 or better and fourth on the team with three rounds in the 60's...his play at the Gator Invitational was sensational as he tied his career best for s single-round score (67) in the second round, established his career-best for a three-round tournament score (207) and finished in a tie for sixth place in the individual standings...played the best back-to-back rounds of his career in the second (68) and third (67) rounds of the event to close with a 135 total...improved his standing by 15 positions on the final day of the event with his career best score...played well in the second outing of the spring season with a tied for ninth place finish at the Seminole Intercollegiate...played well on the second day in the second (71) and third rounds (71) with a 142 total...moved from a tie for 37th after one round and into a tie for ninth in the final individual standings with his performance in the final two rounds of the event...he was a combined total of three strokes under par in his first two tournaments (Gator and Seminole) of the spring season...played the best golf of his first two years in leading the Seminoles to the first ACC Championship in school history with a tied for 13th place finish in the event...Lauer was in 10th place with a two-under par score of 70 in the first round, was in 14th after carding an even par 72 in the second round and finished in a tie for 13th place after carding a second score of 70 in the third round...his minus four strokes under par was the second best score vs. par of his career...his 212 total score was the third best three-round score of his career...averaged a career-low 73.80 stokes in 30 rounds during 10 tournaments...

Fall 2008: Played in all three events for the Seminoles and helped the team to three top-10 team finishes including a fourth place finish in the Brickyard Collegiate Championship...best event of the season came as he finished in a tie for 21st place at the Brickyard Collegiate Championship with a three round total of 219...played well in the first two rounds of the event as was in a tie for eighth place in the individual standings with a two-round total of 144 heading into the third and final round...played his final 15 holes of the second round at one-under par and scored only one hole above par after his third hole of the round...if not for a double bogey six on the par four 12th hole, he could have challenged his all-time low single round score of 67...totaled five birdies and 24 holes at par through the first two rounds of the tournament...helped Florida State to a seventh place finish in the team standings at the season-opening Fighting Illini Invitational...averaged 74.55 strokes in nine rounds during three tournaments...
