Fall 2009: Began to show what a wonderful junior season he would have in the fall as he earned medalist honors and led the Seminoles to the championship of the Inaugural GolfWeek Challenge at the first tournament of the fall season...helped the Seminoles to the second team championship of the fall season as Florida State ran away with the team championship at the Gary Koch Intercollegiate...earned medalist honors for the first time in his career as he finished in a tie for first place in the individual standings in leading the Seminoles to the team championship at the GolfWeek Challenge...was in a tie for seventh place after the first round of the event and moved into first place during the second round...his score of 68 allowed him to hold onto a share of first place for the event...his score of 68 also allowed him to lead the Seminoles from four strokes entering the final round to take the team championship...finished the GolfWeek Challenge with scores of 69 and 68 to mark the only time during the fall 2009 season and one of five times during his career that he has recorded consecutive scores in the 60's in the same tournament...his score vs. par of minus nine in finishing in a tie for first at the Gary Koch Intercollegiate is the best of his career and one of five times in his career that he has finished under par in a tournament during the first three years of his collegiate career...his score of 207 in the Gary Koch was only three strokes off of his career best score for a tournament and at the time of the event in the fall of 2009 was the best of his career...averaged 72.73 strokes in 11 rounds during four tournaments...
