On Del Solar: A strong player who has the physical abilities to compete for a spot in the Seminoles' starting line-up upon his arrival as a freshman...has developed an ability to play tough courses well because he drives the ball extremely well...his strong ability to drive the ball allows him to play on the green and earn consistent results...win the individual championships at the 2009 and 2010 Chilean Junior Open tournaments...earned a second place finish at the Chilean Junior Open in 2009...third place finishes in the 2011 National Amateur Tournament of Mexico, the 2011 South American Amateur Cup and the 2011 South American Junior Championships......finished in third place in the under 16 individual standings at the Optimist Florida USA Tournament in 2009...played in a pre-qualifier for the 2011 U.S. Open where he finished in 17th place in the individual standings...finished in the top 14 in the junior invitational at Sage Valley in 2012.
