Spring 2012: Earned All-ACC Honors for the first time in his career and helped lead Florida State to a ninth place finish in the final team standings at the NCAA Championship Finals at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif...earned All-ACC honors in a vote by the ACC's 11 head coaches...finished as Florida State's second highest ranking golfer with a 72.50 stroke average in his first season in the Seminoles' line-up...helped lead Florida State to a ninth place finish in the NCAA Championship Finals, a tied for third place finish in the NCAA Southwest Regional and a third place finish in the ACC Championship...the Seminoles were ranked No. 16 in the final GolfStat national poll and No. 16 in the final GolfWeek Magazine poll...an incredible four match roll at the Seminole Intercollegiate (minus eight strokes under par), at the FAU Spring Break Invitational (plus one stroke over par), at the Gary Koch Invitational (plus seven strokes over par) and in his first career ACC Championship (minus three strokes under par) when he was a cumulative total of minus three strokes under par in those four tournaments...was a total of one stroke over par in five events during the months of March and April...earned his way into the Seminoles' line-up with a tied for third place finish in the Gator Invitational - the first event of his Florida State career...was Florida State's leading golfer as he carded scores of 68-71-74 for a three round total of 213...his score of 68 (minus two under par) came in the first round of his Division I career and was tied for the 11th best round of the season by Seiffert and his Seminole teammates...his score of 68 was his second best of his first season at Florida State and included four birdies and 10 holes at par or better on his final 14 holes...after starting his first round as a Seminole with two bogeys over his first four holes, Seiffert caught fire and quickly moved under par...he was even after seven holes and moved under par after 12 holes...Seiffert birdied his final two holes to move under par and finish with a 68...Seiffert was second place in the individual standings after his first round score of 68 and in a tie for third place after two rounds with a total of 139...was at his Seminole best as he finished in second place at the Florida State hosted Seminole Intercollegiate with a career best 36 hole score of 134 (67-67), a career best tournament score vs. par of minus eight under par and a career best 205 three round tournament score...Seiffert was in a tie for second place after his first round 67, in first place after two rounds and his 36 hole total of 134 and finished in second place in the individual standings with a three round total of 205 - he finished only one stroke behind teammate Brooks Koepka who carded a 66 in the final round to overtake Seiffert and win the individual title...both Seiffert and Koepka helped the Seminoles to a first place finish in the team standings as they overtook No. 8 ranked Georgia Tech in the final round to win the title...Florida State's third leading golfer with a three under par score of 213 and scores of 77-66-75 in his first career ACC Championships appearance...his score of 66 in the second round ranks as his career high and moved him into a tie for eighth place in the individual standings after two rounds...Seiffert was unflappable in the second round with one eagle, six birdies and eight more holes scored at par...he birdied his first hole of the afternoon (the par five hole No. 1) and moved to 4 under par with an eagle, two birdies and one hole scored a par on his first four holes...finished his front nine at 3 under par and, with three more birdies on his back nine move to 6 under par to close the round...Seiffert birdied two of his final three holes including the par five hole No. 18...averaged a career low 72.50 strokes in 24 rounds during eight events.
