"Not a bad practice for the first day, I thought it was pretty good."
On whether the long break between practicing has affected the team:
"We're going to get so many practices in before the bowl game just like we have for the past twenty or so years. They didn't look like they've been out that long today. They jumped around pretty good, though that's usually true for the first day; everybody's fresh."
On the injured players coming back healthier for the bowl game:
"We should have some, they should be healthier. They've had plenty of time to recuperate."
On how it feels to get back out to practice:
"It's a good feeling. We've been off for a while just running and lifting. It feels good to get back out here and go full speed with pads on. We have a lot of work to do for the bowl game and we're just excited to get back at it."
On any challenges
"They're a really good football team. They played a great season and they have a bunch of great players on defense and offense. They put up points and we know as an offense we have to go out there and try to match them and just go out there and compete. We definitely have a lot to get ready for and we're just excited to get after it again."
On graduating this weekend:
"For me, this is what I came to school to do. Football was always secondary to me and my family. I'm happy and my mom and dad are happy. It's a good thing to have something that a lot of people don't have."
On the impression he'd like to make in his final collegiate game:
"Of course I want to go out with a big game. Right now I just want to win the game for the seniors; it's our last game at
