Greensboro, NC - Florida State placekicker Gary Cismesia was named the ACC's specialist of the week following the Seminoles game versus No. 12 Florida. The senior from Parrish, Fla. went 4-for-4 on field goals accounting for all 12 of the Seminoles points. His 60-yard field goal at the end of the first half was the longest in the nation this year and the longest kick in ACC history.

Cismesia, who has tied the ACC record for field goals in a season, was named a second team All-ACC selection earlier today. He is the first Seminole place kicker to receive first or second team honors since Xavier Beitia did it as a true freshman in 2001. No kicker in the NCAA has more field goals this season than Cismesia and he is nearing 300 points in his illustrious career.

With one field goal in the Seminoles' bowl game, Cismesia will set the single season record at Florida State. He has already hit 27 field goals this year, more than any other kicker in America.

Cismesia was also honored as the ACC Specialist of the Week following the Seminoles' game versus Miami. The kicker hit field goals from 23, 31, 33, and 45 yards twice. His kicks brought FSU from behind three times and put the Seminoles up 3-0, 20-17, 23-17, 26-24 and 29-24.
