Fan Pregame Spectacular

Nov. 24, 2010

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- If you don't have a ticket to the Florida State/ Florida game you still have the opportunity for a unique game-day experience this Saturday.

Make it a point to take advantage of all the on-line sources available for the Seminoles vs. Gators including a first-time venture by Fox Sports Florida to show an entire hour of pre-game activity LIVE on the website, which will make a great lead-in to your ABC/ESPN/Seminoles.com experience.

Your Saturday should go something like this: Work your way through any yard chores, house cleaning, oil changes or kid's soccer matches by no later than 1:30 p.m. Get your computer set up in close proximity to your best TV by 2:00 and be on-line at FoxSportsFlorida.com by no later than 2:25. At exactly 2:30 Fox Sports/Sun Sports will train their cameras on the Doak Campbell Stadium field and bring you all the activity - including the introduction of Seminole senior players - right up until ABC/ESPN takes over the broadcast time at 3:30.

But the key is to keep your computer on when ABC comes on the air! Switch to www.seminoles.com, the official site of Florida State Athletics, and keep it refreshed throughout the game. On Seminoles.com you can follow the live game chats that include updates on notes and statistics being passed along to the media and television. In addition, you can keep tabs on the running statistics by checking the live game tracker so you know exactly how many rushing yards Chris Thompson has.

You can also follow the live in-game updates on facebook (Seminoles.com/facebook) and twitter (Seminoles.com/twitter). And my favorite feature on the site occurs in post-game when network TV leaves you wishing for more and you can get the reaction of head coach Jimbo Fisher and FSU players LIVE from the interview room right after the game at www.seminoles.com.

While there is nothing like being at a Florida State game in person, Saturday offers fans a chance to merge the on-line and live television experience like never before.

And speaking of being at home games in person, season tickets are already on sale for the 2011 season with the opportunity to spread your payments over monthly installments from now until July 15. Renew your season tickets today and take advantage of the plan. In fact, grab your friends and tell them now is the time to get behind the Seminoles.

With the Holiday Season upon us, 2011 season football tickets would make the perfect holiday gift for the special Seminole on your list! Just go to www.seminoles.com and hit tickets to begin your FSU adventure and support the Seminoles.
