FSU's Myron Rolle Named CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District

Tallahassee, Fla. - Seminole sophomore Myron Rolle was named to ESPN The Magazine's All-District first team on Thursday. The rover was one of four defensive backs named to the District 3 team. This is the first CoSIDA Academic All-District honor for Rolle in his career.
Rolle has started every game for Florida State this season. He is tied for third on the team with 45 tackles, he has a pass break-up and has recovered two fumbles this season. The Galloway, NJ native is a key member of a Seminole defense that is ranked 24th in the nation, a scoring defense ranked 17th and a pass defense currently ranked 31st.
Rolle is an exercise science major and boasts a 3.81 GPA. He was a member of the Dean's List in the Fall of 2006 and the Spring and Summer of 2007. Rolle posted a 4.0 GPA in Spring and Summer of 2006. He will finish his undergrad degree before his junior season of football begins.
