FLORIDA STATE'S ALL-TIME PASSING LEADER

Chris Weinke, the first three-year starter in the Bowden era, became FSU's
all-time leading passer with his 443- yard performance at Georgia Tech.
Weinke trails Danny Kanell by three for the career touchdown passes record.
Weinke already owns the school record with 24, 200-yard passing games. The
only time he did not throw for 200 yards was in the 1998 Virginia game,
when he played a half before suffering a season-ending neck injury.

touchdowns through the first three games of the season. It marks the first
time that Weinke has surpassed the 1,000 yards passing mark in less than
four games and his eight passing touchdowns is three more than he had been
credited with through three games during his sophomore and junior seasons.
As a sophomore, Weinke didn't hit for 1,000 yards until the fifth game of
the season and as a junior he didn't hit the mark until his final
completion of his fourth game.
