ACC Media Picks Florida State To Win Atlantic Division

The media at the 2007 ACC Football Kickoff selected Florida State to win the Atlantic Division and play in the ACC Championship game for the second time in the game's three-year history.

The first-place selection marks the 16th-consecutive season that the Seminoles have been picked to win either their division or the league.

Virginia Tech was tabbed to win the Coastal Division and was also the favorite to win the 2007 ACC Championship Game, receiving 69 of the 83 votes.

Florida State opens the 2007 season Monday, Sept. 3, at Clemson in an 8 p.m. contest that will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
