TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State will kick off its home opener Sept. 6 against The Citadel at 7:30 p.m., Atlantic Coast Conference officials announced Tuesday.
The primetime contest will mark FSU's first game at Doak Campbell Stadium since winning the third national championship in program history this past January.
The game will air live on Regional Sports Networks (RSN) of Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Carolinas, Fox Sports Florida or Sun Sports, Comcast Sports Net Mid-Atlantic, New England Sports Network (NESN), the YES Network or MSG Network in New York and Root Sports in Pennsylvania, as well as several other networks that reach 71 million homes on average. If the game is not in your particular coverage area, ESPN3 will provide a live online broadcast.
Tickets to FSU's home opener are still available in a special six-game package for just $240. In addition to The Citadel, the package features tickets to marquee home matchups against Clemson and Notre Dame as well as Wake Forest, Virginia and Boston College.
