TURNOVER TIME
• FSU forced a season-best three turnovers today.
• Linebacker Vince Williams made his first career interception on Everett Dawkins' second tipped ball of the game with 10:31 left in the game.
• Linebacker Christian Jones' sack with 22 seconds left in the third quarter forced a fumble that was recovered by freshman Timmy Jernigan. It was Jones' second sack of the season and Jernigan's first fumble recovery of his career.
• Cornerback Xavier Rhodes' interception of NC State quarterback Mike Glennon at 2:16 left in the second quarter was his first pick of the 2011 season and fifth of his career.
• It's the third time this season FSU has forced two or more turnovers. The Noles also completed the feat at Duke (one fumble, one interception) and against Oklahoma (two interceptions).

SHUTOUT CITY
• Florida State's 34-0 victory marks its second shutout of the season. The other shutout was also a 34-0 score against ULM on Sept. 3.

FIRST TIME WOLFPACK SHUT OUT SINCE 2008
• The last time NC State was shut out was on Aug. 28, 2008 in a 34-0 road loss to South Carolina.

GOIN' FOR 30
• Today's 34-0 win over NC State marks the fifth consecutive 30-point effort by the Seminoles.
• The last time FSU reached 30 or more points in five straight games was from Jan. 1, 2002 in the Gator Bowl against Virginia Tech to Sept. 21, 2002 in a 48-17 win over Duke.

CAREER-BEST IN COMPLETIONS FOR MANUEL
• Quarterback EJ Manuel tallied a career-best 25 completions on 34 attempts. • He passed for 321 yards, his second career 300-yard game.
• Manuel's career-best for yards (329) came against CSU. He has 35 attempts twice.
• For the third consecutive game, quarterback EJ Manuel improved his career-best for passing yards in an ACC game, tossing for 321 yards.
• Manuel threw for 264 yards against Maryland (Oct. 22) and 239 yards at Duke (Oct. 15).

REED MOVES UP THE CHARTS
• With five catches for 49 yards in the first half, Reed tallies 158 catches and 1808 receiving yards for his career.
• He moved past Hassan Jones (1764 career receiving yards) and Anquan Boldin (1790) into No. 15 all-time in receiving yards in FSU history.

PUTTING A DENT IN THE WOLFPACK
Greg Dent's team-best 70 yards receiving is a career-best. His previous career high in reception yards came in the season-opener, when he tallied 50 yards. His three catches ties a career high set against CSU.

THOMAS TALLIES CAREER-BESTS
• Senior running back Jermaine Thomas had a career-best five receptions for a career-best 53 yards. His previous best for receptions was three (done last at North Carolina in 2009) and his previous best for receiving yards was 42 yards (versus Georgia Tech in 2009).
• Thomas' 32-yard reception at 1:20 left in the first half was the longest reception of his career. His previous best was a 25-yard grab versus Maryland last week.

HOPKINS TODAY
• Made a 43-yard field goal in the first quarter and a 39-yarder in the fourth quarter. He missed a 52-yard attempt in the third quarter.
• He is 14-16 on field goal attempts in 2011 and 55-71 on FGs for his career. • He made four PAT attempts in the game, increasing his school-record to 119 consecutive PATS.

KEEPING GLENNON IN CHECK
• The Noles defense held NC State's prolific quarterback Mike Glennon without a touchdown pass for the first time all season. His 130 passing yards were also a season-low.
• Glennon was just 19-of-34 for 130 yards and two interceptions. • Entering today, Glennon was 144-for-229 with 19 touchdowns and six interceptions.

HARRIS THE HITMAKER
• Cornerback Mike Harris was second on the Noles in tackles with eight.
• He leads the Seminoles with 48 tackles, a rare feat for a cornerback.
• He recorded his first career sack - for a three-yard loss - at the 5:17 mark in the second quarter. He had four tackles in the first half.

POWELL POWER
• Senior punter Shaun Powell placed all three of his punts inside the 20-yard line.
• On the season, Powell has dropped 10 of 25 punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line (40.0%).
• Six of those 10 punts have been downed inside the opponent's 10, including a punt downed at the 6-yard line in the second quarter today.

SHAW WITH A CAREER-BEST DAY
• Sophomore receiver Kenny Shaw set a career-best in receptions for the second straight week, grabbing seven balls for 57 yards today. His previous career-best in reception was six against Maryland last week.

• Senior linebacker Nigel Bradham, senior offensive tackle Zebrie Sanders and junior kicker Dustin Hopkins

ANTONE SMITH ATTENDS GAME
• Former Florida State running back and current Atlanta Falcon Antone Smith was on the sidelines for today's game.

FREEMAN FINDS THE ENDZONE
• Freshman tailback Devonta Freeman's seven-yard score in the first quarter was his fourth rushing touchdown and it's his third consecutive game with a rushing touchdown.
• The last Seminole running back to have a rushing score in three straight games was Jermaine Thomas during the 2009 and 2010 seasons. Thomas had a rushing touchdown in seven consecutive games (the last five of 2009 and the first two of 2010). The streak started on Oct. 31, 2009 versus NC State and went through Sept. 11, 2010 against Oklahoma.

O'LEARY'S CAREER-BEST CATCH
• Freshman tight end Nick O'Leary's 25-yard reception at the 3:30 mark in the first quarter was a career-best.

THIRD FIRST HALF SHUTOUT OF SEASON
• Florida State's 24-0 halftime lead marked its third halftime shutout of the 2011 season, including its first against an ACC opponent.

PRYOR SCORES FIRST TOUCHDOWN OF 2011
• Junior fullback Lonnie Pryor's eight yard touchdown score with 6:57 left in the second quarter gave the Noles a 16-0 lead and was his first touchdown of 2011.
• It was Pryor's ninth career rushing score.
