“It was good.  We knew they were going to come out and fight.  We did what we had to do.  We knew we could win.  We had some breaks here and there and we hurt ourselves withy penalties and we were able to do it. 

What was different in the second half?

“Nothing really.  They couldn’t stop us.  We knew as long as we didn’t hurt ourselves wee were going to do well.  We were just taking the easy routes that they were giving us all day and that’s what we did.”

“We tackled a lot better (in the second half) and we ran to the football and we were able to contain number 16 the quarterback.  I think that added to our success.  We played smarter and a lot more disciplined.  A lot of time we were getting a little lazy with our eyes and a little lazy with our technique.  We tried to sharpen up in the second half. 

“This is a huge win.  It’s an ACC win and a win against a team that played well against us at their home place.  We are trying to get better every week.”
