At Florida State: Will see considerable playing time at several wide receiver positions...enters preseason practice listed behind All-ACC candidate Robert Morgan at the split end position...should also earn playing time at the flanker position in the Seminoles' two wide receiver sets...was slated for a lot of playing time last year, but an injured ankle suffered against Georgia Tech cost him four games in the middle of the season.

Junior Year (2000): Recorded 20 catches for 313 yards and three touchdowns...ranked fifth on the team with 20 catches and fourth with a 34.8 yards per game average...his three touchdown receptions tied for fourth and his 313 receiving yards were fifth among the Seminoles' wide receivers...played in 10 games including the national championship game against Oklahoma...had a career-high eight catches for 70 yards and one touchdown in his first career Division I game against Brigham Young in the Kickoff Classic...first career catch was a 19-yard touchdown reception from Heisman Trophy winner Chris Weinke in the first quarter against the Cougars...had a career-high 109 yards on six receptions in the victory over Clemson...his 109 receiving yards allowed the Seminoles to gain 521 passing yards against the Tigers, the second highest single-game total in school history...caught nine passes for 133 yards and one touchdown in the first two games of the season but suffered an ankle injury against Georgia Tech and was forced to miss the next three games...caught one pass for 63 yards and a touchdown against the Yellow Jackets...caught three passes for 55 yards in the Duke game...had one catch for 10 yards and a touchdown against NC State...six yards on one catch against Florida.

Sophomore Year (1999): Played at Jones (Miss.) Junior College...earned All-America honors...considered to be the top junior college receiver in the nation as a sophomore...had 61 receptions for 906 yards and seven touchdowns...led the team in receptions, yards and yards per reception with a 14.9 average...listed as the No. 5 junior college prospect by SuperPrep.

Freshman Year (1998): Played at Jones (Miss.) Junior College...led the Bobcats to a perfect 12-0 record and the junior college national championship...caught 37 passes for 735 yards and eight touchdowns...averaged 19.9 yards per reception... played in all 12 games during the teams' national championship run.

1997 Baseball: Drafted by the Florida Marlins in the eighth round of the Major League Baseball free agent draft...spent one full season and two summers in the organization...was elevated as high as AA with Portland (Maine) of the Eastern League.

High School: Graduated from St. Thomas More High School in 1997...a USA Today All-USA honorable mention selection as a running back during his senior all-state first-team selection and Class 5A Player of the Year his senior season...rushed for 1,900 yards and 29 touchdowns...also recorded 300 receiving yards and caught four touchdown passes...ran back two kickoffs and one punt for All-American performer in track...rated No. 2 in the nation and finished second at the state championship in the triple jump...also finished second in the state championships in the long jump...
