At Florida State: Has started every game at tight tackle over the last two seasons and is listed on several preseason All-America teams...first team All-ACC player for the national champions last year...despite his success he must fight off Char-ron Dorsey to keep his starting spot in 2000...very experience and savvy offensive lineman.

Junior Year (1999): First team All-ACC selection at offensive tackle...started every game at tight tackle over the last two seasons...often called on to block opponent’s top pass rusher...very athletic and experienced with 23 straight starts under his belt...earned ACC Player of the Week for his blocking against Maryland.

Sophomore Year (1998): Started every game at tight tackle helping the team advance to the national title game at the Fiesta Bowl against Tennessee...one of several young offensive linemen who had to learn on the job in 1998...improved steadily throughout the year...proved durable over the season...named Dominator of the Week after the Virginia game...had 16 intimidations...was named to the Victor's Club after his performances against Texas A&M, Southern California, Maryland, Miami, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Virginia and Wake Forest.

Freshman Year (1997): Found playing time hard to come by behind Tra Thomas (no relation) who became the second consecutive FSU tight tackle to be selected in the first round of the NFL draft when he was taken with the 11th pick by Philadelphia (Walter Jones, who started as a rookie in Seattle last year, was the other)...made the Victor's Club after an impressive outing in the second game of his career against Maryland...also earned playing time on field goal and extra point units.

1996: Redshirted.

High School: Played center at nearby Jefferson County High School...a first team Class 3A selection...received the highest possible rating in Deep South Football and the National Recruiting Advisor...tabbed a Florida Times-Union Super 75...named to Tom Lemming's All-America team...recorded 130 tackles and 16 sacks as a defensive lineman...chose FSU over UCLA, South Carolina, Kentucky and Florida.
