At Florida State: Enters the fall locked in a battle with junior Jarad Moon for the starting center job...came out of spring drills slightly ahead of Moon and is listed at first team on the depth chart entering preseason practice...started the first 10 games of the 1998 campaign before relinquishing the job to Moon...shared backup duties with Moon behind All-American Kevin Long in 1997 ...started twice for an injured Long as a redshirt freshman in 1996 ...named the offensive line's most dependable at the conclusion of spring drills by the coaching staff...one of only two returning starters at center in the ACC.

Junior Year (1998): Started the first 10 games of the season at center and played in all 13...split time with Jarad Moon at the challenging position...recorded 13 intimidations during the season...named to the Victor's Club after performances against Texas A&M, Duke, Clemson and Wake Forest...most versatile and athletic player on the line.

Sophomore Year (1997): A key reserve on a young and talented Seminole offensive front...saw action in every game while playing multiple positions...also provided support with the special teams units...spent some time in the spring working at guard...spent much of the year continuing to learn the offensive system from veteran leaders.

Freshman Year (1996): Proved to be a capable and consistent performer as a redshirt freshman...started twice in place of an injured Kevin Long...opened at North Carolina State and Wake Forest... appeared in eight games during the season...saw most of his action with the second unit...had five pancake blocks on the season.

1995: Redshirted.

High School: A second team all-state Class 6A selection as a senior at Columbus High in Miami...named first team All-Dade County...SuperPrep's No. 28 offensive line prospect nation-wide...rated third best offensive guard in state by Florida Times-Union...the National Recruiting Advisor's No. 10 guard in the Southeast.

Personal: A child development major...born November 5, 1977 - the same day that FSU defeated Memphis State 30-9 en route to a 10-2 season.
