Sophomore Year (1998): Started at right cornerback in all 13 games...named to All-ACC second team along with fellow defensive backs Mario Edwards and Dexter Jackson...had 33 tackles, including 24 solo stops...11 of his 33 total tackles were on third down... finished second on the Seminole squad with eight pass deflections ...intercepted only pass of the season against Maryland...key reason why FSU held five opponents to less than 100 yards passing and ranked first in the nation in passing defense...pass break-ups came against Texas A&M, NC State, Clemson, Georgia Tech (2) and a team-high three against Florida...also contributed four intimidations on the season...earned Victor's Club honors eight times ...was the Tomahawk Player of the Game against Georgia Tech.
Freshman Year (1997): Recorded 46 tackles, including 30 solo as a redshirt freshman...finished third among defensive backs and eighth overall in tackles...added three tackles for loss and four pass break-ups...named ACC Rookie of the Week following a season-high 12 tackle performance against Georgia Tech...totaled three interceptions on the season which ranked second highest on the team...recorded five tackles and broke up a pass in the Sugar Bowl victory over Ohio State...notched his first career interception at Clemson...named Tomahawk Player of the Game (MVP) for Georgia Tech contest...earned Victor's Club honors nine times...recovered a fumble at Virginia...had three "big hits" and two "big plays" on the season.
