At Florida State: Enters his final season listed at second team flanker behind Heisman Trophy candidate Peter Warrick ...improved consistency in the spring helped him move up the depth chart...should see playing time in multi-receiver sets and as a kick return man.

Junior Year (1998): Lacked consistency in catching the football...backed up at flanker and saw time on special teams...did not catch a pass and did not return a kickoff.

Sophomore Year (1997): Played in every game as a reserve wide receiver and kickoff return man...caught nine passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns...led the Seminoles with a 22.1 yards per reception average...best game of the season was a three-catch, 64-yard game against Wake Forest...also scored on a nine-yard throw from Chris Weinke in that game...had a 31-yard TD catch from Thad Busby in the NC State win...also caught passes of 36 yards (versus Georgia Tech) and 32 yards (at Duke)...led FSU with 13 kickoff returns for 273 yards...averaged 21.0 yards per runback with a long of 38.

Freshman Year (1996): Saw limited time at wide receiver but contributed on special teams as a kickoff return man...caught one pass for 15 yards on the year...that grab came at NC State...helped FSU finish first in the ACC and 15th nationally in kickoff return average...led the team with 28.8 yards average on five returns...also returned one punt for four yards.

1995: Sat out the football season as a redshirt...did compete on Florida State's track and field team during the spring.

High School: Lettered three years for the football team...led Southwest Dekalb High School to the state semifinals as a junior and senior...selected All-County as a senior wing-back ...lettered four years for the track team...all-state selection and state champion in the 100m and 200m as a junior and senior...second fastest 100-meter time in the nation as a junior (10.18).

Personal: Child development major...born January 4, 1976...played last year's Fiesta Bowl on his birthday...second oldest player on the Seminole roster behind 27-year old quarterback Chris Weinke...high school teammate of Georgia starting quarterback Quincy Carter.
