2008: Saw the first extended action of his career under center in 2008...played in 10 games...serves as more of a change of pace QB than a true second-team passer...a dual threat QB who registered a run and a pass of 39 yards or better...set the record for the longest rush by an FSU QB when he ran in a 55-yard TD versus Chattanooga...bested the number he set in the season-opener when he ripped off a 52-yard run versus Western Carolina...led FSU in rushing and passing versus Wake Forest...ran for 68 yards and two TDs in the season opener versus Western Carolina...added 38 yards and another rushing TD the next week versus UTC...recorded four games on the season where he ran for 38 yards or more...completed TD passes versus WCU, UTC and Georgia Tech...only game with 100 yards through the air came versus UTC...will miss spring practice while he participates with the Seminole baseball team.

2007: Played in three games as one of the Seminoles' back-up quarterbacks...earned playing time of one play each against Alabama and at Virginia Tech...both of the plays he participated in were designed run plays...a total of minus two yards rushing on two attempts.

2006: A redshirt season.

High School: Graduated from Lee County High School in 2006...a five-star prospect and an All-American selection as a prep senior by four-start prospect and the No. 11 ranked athlete in the nation according to as the No. 1 prep athlete in the state of Georgia as a senior by 10th among all prep prospects in the state of Georgia following his senior season...the Class 4A Offensive Player of the Year and an All-State first team selection as a senior by the Georgia Sports Writers Association...threw for over 2,200 yards and 27 touchdowns while rushing for 1,050 yards and 17 additional touchdowns...the quarterback on's pre-season all-state team prior to his senior season...earned all-state Honorable Mention honors as a junior as he passed for 1,758 yards, rushed for 1,130 yards and scored a total of 29 touchdowns...ran a 4.58 in the 40-yard dash and recorded a 32-inch vertical jump in the Tallahassee Nike Camp prior to his senior season...both ranked as the second best numbers amongst quarterbacks in attendance at the outstanding baseball player and ranked as the No. 82 prep player in the nation according to Baseball America...selected Florida State over Alabama, Georgia and Oklahoma.

Personal: Born July 30, 1988......major is social science...has six brothers and sisters and is the oldest of his seven siblings...played baseball with Seminole All-American catcher and national player of the year Buster Posey in high school.
