About Reliford... Three-year starter for the Seminoles at tight end who played in 42 career games and started 24 as a tight end...was instrumental in FSU's rushing attack in a three-year stretch (151.8 yards per game)...totalled 36 career catches for 376 yards (10.4 ypc) and three touchdowns.
Senior tight end who made nine starts in his third season as a prominent contributor to the Seminole offense...developed into a fine blocker over the course of his career and an integral piece to FSU's running game success...his experience was especially helpful given the injuries sustained along the offensive line...finished with seven receptions for 69 yards (9.9 ypc) on the season...season-high three receptions came at home against No. 1 Oklahoma...also had season-high 30 receiving yards against the Sooners...played in 12 of 13 regular season games, missing the Clemson contest.
2010 Stepped into a much larger role garnering 10 starts...came into the season with 12 total receptions his first two years and emerged as an offensive threat...set new single-season and career highs with 17 receptions for 198 yards, both of which ranked sixth on the team...his lone touchdown grab came against Boston College on a 10-yard pass from Christian Ponder.
2009 Started final five games of the regular season following the season-ending injury to senior Caz Piurowski...appeared in all 13 games and finished the season with 11 receptions for 101 yards and two touchdowns...had the game-winning touchdown reception on an 18-yard pass from Christian Ponder with 6:20 remaining in the fourth quarter at North Carolina...first career touchdown reception was an 11-yard pass from Ponder in the first quarter against Georgia Tech...had at least one reception in seven of the final eight games of the season.
2008 Saw action in four games as a true freshman...his lone reception was an 8-yard grab against Western Carolina in his collegiate debut.
Had 500 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns during his senior year at Dillard High School...did not play football until his junior year of high school, but distinguished himself on the basketball court, where he was the MVP of the 5A state championship game after scoring 21 points and grabbing nine rebounds as a senior...earned second team 5A All-State honors after averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds for Dillard...selected FSU over Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss and LSU...Reliford's first name is Xiangdre...born November 5, 1989.
