At Florida State: Former walk-on fullback who earned a scholarship in 1999...listed as co-second team at fullback (along with Randy Golightly) behind returning starter William McCray...made his first career start at fullback last season against Florida...a tough, physical player who is regarded as one of the top blockers in the FSU backfield...also sees action on special teams and in short yardage situations...should see even more action this year with FSU's commitment to the running game.

Junior Year (2000): Made his first career start in FSU's 30-7 win over Florida in Tallahassee...lone carry of the season was a two-yard gain at NC State...only catch of the year was a five-yard reception against the Gators...was slated to see more playing time in 2000 until a knee injury, which required surgery, sidelined him in the preseason.

Sophomore Year (1999): Became a very important player when starting fullback William McCray was lost for the year in the season opener...backed up Dan Kendra at fullback while also playing on special teams...carried just once for two yards and caught one pass for eight yards on the season...played much of the season with a broken bone in his hand.

1998: Redshirted after transferring from Millsaps College.

Freshman Year (1997): Played baseball and football at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.

High School: A three-year starter in baseball and a two-year starter in football at Central High School...the team captain of the football team as a senior and a first team Gulf Coast Athletic Conference selection...played both linebacker and tight end...caught 11 passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns as a senior...helped Central advance to the state playoffs during junior and senior seasons...a two-time GCAC 1st team honoree as a first baseman...the GCAC Player of the Year as a senior after hitting .491 with five home runs...set seven school single season batting records during senior year...named to the Hernando County All-Millenium Team for his baseball accomplishments.

Personal: A double major in business management and human resource management...will receive both degrees in December...hopes to pursue a graduate degree...born April 7, 1979.
