Florida State defensive stars Brandon Jenkins and Greg Reid have decided to return for their senior seasons. Plus a note on Arrington Jenkins and Avis Commack and a list of all-star games featuring FSU's 2011 class of seniors.
About Little... Local Tallahassee high school product who was used primarily as a blocker throughout his career...registered three career catches in 44 games and had one touchdown reception...as a four-year letterman was instrumental in one of FSU's best rushing attacks in a four-year stretch (158.5 yards per game).
Senior tight end who almost always was on the field when the `Noles went to their two tight end formation...appeared in 12 games and registered three starts coming against Clemson, Wake Forest and NC State...improved as a pass catcher during spring ball and picked up his first career TD reception - a 1-yard touchdown reception of an EJ Manuel pass which came on Senior Day against Virginia...it was just the third reception of Little's career, all of which have come on passes from Manuel.
2010 Played in 12 games and garnered four starts...mostly used in blocking situations especially down on the goal line and short-yardage...he and fellow tight end Beau Reliford's blocking efforts were instrumental in improving a running attack which produced 171.4 yards a game...recorded just one five-yard reception against South Carolina in the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
2009 Appeared in nine games and earned his lone start of the season in the opener against Miami...caught his first and only pass of the season against BYU, which was also the first career completion for redshirt freshman quarterback EJ Manuel...primarily used in blocking situations, especially down on the goal line.
2008 Played in 11 games and made first start of his career against NC State...was the primary back-up to starter Caz Piurowski.
Continued the long line of FSU signees out of Tallahassee football power Lincoln High School...earned FSWA 4A All-State honorable mentions honors as a senior...participated in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl following his senior season...earned a four-star rating from Rivals.com...chose FSU over Ohio State, Tennessee, NC State, Illinois, USF and Minnesota...born September 21, 1988.
