At Florida State: Enters the fall season as backup to sophomore Brett Williams at offensive tackle...can play either guard or tackle spot...FSU's top reserve offensive lineman in 1999 when he backed up Jerry Carmichael at guard and Tarlos Thomas at tackle...one of seven Seminoles to bench press over 500 with 510 lb. lift at spring testing.

Junior Year (1999): Played at offensive tackle, but also saw action at offensive guard...excellent player who gives the Seminoles real quality depth...knows the offense extremely well.

Sophomore Year (1998): Used an improved work ethic to gain more playing time as the season progressed...appeared in 10 games but did not start...was Florida State's top reserve offensive lineman...backed up at tight guard and tight tackle ...also saw action on extra point and field goal units...named to the Victor's Club after the Southern California and Miami wins.

Freshman Year (1997): Became the first freshman in five years (Lewis Tyre, 1992) to start every game along the offensive line...enjoyed an excellent rookie season at tight guard that culminated in first team Freshman All-American recognition by The Sporting News...earned Victor's Club honors from Florida State's coaching staff nine times...his development over the course of the season was vital as Florida State's ground game improved...was dominant at times...played on the tight side along side NFL first round draft pick Tra Thomas...joined on the line by another NFL draftee, center Kevin Long.

1996: Redshirted.

High School: Regarded as one of the state's top prep lineman as a senior at Carol City High...played both ways as a senior in leading the Chiefs to a 12-2 mark...first team Class 6A all-state selection...earned honorable mention All-America honors from USA Today...one of eight members of his recruiting class to play in the Florida-Georgia All-Star Game...state champion in the shot put as a sophomore...picked the Seminoles over Florida, Ohio State, Tennessee and Syracuse.

Personal: Majoring in social science...born April 17, 1978 ...prep teammate of current Seminoles Octavis Jackson, Bradley Jennings and Stanford Samuels.
