At Florida State: Emerged as the starter at left cornerback following spring drills but will be in a battle with returning starter Mario Edwards to hold the position...shared Most Improved honors at cornerback with Clevan Thomas this spring ...served as a backup at both cornerback positions in 1998 after transferring from Copiah-Lincoln (MS) Community College...also returns punts and kickoffs for the Seminoles.

Junior Year (1998): Recorded two interceptions and was in on some very important plays during first season with the Seminoles...picked off his passes in wins over Virginia and Florida ...contributed 13 total tackles on the year as a backup at both corners...deflected a pass against Wake Forest...made a season-high four tackles in the NC State game...averaged 11.2 yards per punt return and 19.4 yard per kickoff return...earned Victor's Club recognition against Virginia...was named to the kicking game Victor's Club in the North Carolina and Florida games.
