At Florida State: Enters the fall in a battle with Patrick Hughes for starting tight end honors...missed the last half of spring practice with a MCL sprain to his left knee, but should be at full strength come fall...saw action in 10 games in 2000...appeared in every game in 1999...sat out the 1998 campaign as a redshirt after playing in seven games as a true freshman in 1997...will continue to play on a number of special teams.

Junior Year (2000): Played in 10 games...had one catch for nine yards in the NC State game...saw playing time on short yardage unit as well as on special teams...saw increased playing time over the second half of the season when starting tight end Nick Franklin was lost with a knee injury...backed up Ryan Sprague for most of the season.

Sophomore Year (1999): Third team tight end who made one catch during the season...appeared in every game, mostly on special teams...reception came for 19 yards in the Seminoles' 33-10 win over Wake Forest...saw playing time on short yardage unit as well as on special teams.

1998: Suffered a chest injury during the preseason and was forced to sit out the season as a redshirt.

Freshman Year (1997): Saw action in seven games as a true freshman and was one of 15 true freshmen to letter...recorded two catches for 39 yards on the season...first career catch, a 14-yarder, came at Virginia...had a 25-yard reception from Chris Weinke in Florida State's home finale against Wake Forest.

High School: Pulled down 25 receptions and a pair of touchdowns during his career in a run-oriented offense...named to the Forrest Davis All-South first team...also listed among Davis' Florida Top 12...received a perfect 10.00 rating from Jeff Whitaker's Deep South Football...rated as the No. 16 prospect in Florida and No. 19 offensive lineman nationally by SuperPrep ...rated the No. 1 tight end in Florida, No. 4 tight end nationally and No. 72 overall nationally, receiving a 6.0 on a 6.1 scale by the National Recruiting Advisor.
