Offensive Tackle

At Florida State: Could be one of the great stories in college football in 2000 if he continues his startling return from radical knee surgery...All-America potential and an outstanding NFL prospect until chronic knee injury sidelined him early last year...underwent meniscal replacement surgery and will be one of the first to try and comeback to a contact sport from this procedure...trainers are very encouraged by his progress over the summer...started 25 straight games before injury took him out of the lineup following the season-opener last year...will be a huge boost to the offensive line if he returns to form...big, physical player who was a two-time All-ACC offensive tackle...started all 13 games at split tackle as a sophomore and 10 games at the position as a of the team leaders for the Seminoles.

Junior Year (1999): Started the first two games of the season, but knee injury would not allow him to play further...underwent cartilage replacement surgery during the season...FSU lost a 25-game starter when he left the of four offensive starters (FB William McCray, TE Nick Franklin, WR Laveranues Coles) who were first team players the week before the season began, but who ultimately would miss most of the season.

Sophomore Year (1998): Started every game at split tackle...earned first team All-ACC honors...very solid performer who played with limited mobility in his knee over the last month of the season...named Dominator of the Week after the Virginia game...had 22 intimidation's during the regular season...named to the Victor's Club after his performances against Texas A&M, NC State, Miami, Virginia, Wake Forest and Florida.

Freshman Year (1997): Named second team Freshman All-America by The Sporting News following a season in which he started 10 games as a rookie...received Victor's Club honors four times during the season - after the Southern California, Maryland, Miami and Virginia games...had the tough job of replacing Walter Jones, the sixth pick in the 1997 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks, at his position.

1996: Redshirted along with most of his recruiting class.

High School: Played tight end his first three years at Lassiter High School...Super Prep's No. 19 offensive lineman in the nation ...a 1995 Georgia All-Academic team member...ranked as the No. 2 offensive lineman in Georgia by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution...also played basketball...Class 4A all-state selection ...named all-county following senior season...selected FSU over Auburn, Florida and Tennessee.

Personal: Born December 11, 1977...majoring in finance...rooms with fellow offensive lineman Jarad Moon.
