At Florida State: Returns as the starter at strongside linebacker ...an All-America candidate as he begins preparations for his senior season...has started every game of the past two seasons...sat out most of the spring with an injury but should be 100 percent in the fall...appeared in nine games as a true freshman in 2000 and started every game in 2001 at strongside linebacker...proved to be an exceptional special teams player before moving to the linebacker position in 2001.

Junior Year (2002): Started every game at strongside line-backer for the Seminoles...semifinalist for the Butkus Award...named to the All-ACC second team...voted No. 2 on Kirk Herbstreit's Best of the Best Outside Linebackers along with team-mate Kendyll Pope...second on the team and in the top 10 in the ACC with 127 total tackles, including 67 solo...came up with two crucial interceptions in the Miami and Georgia Tech games...scored the Seminoles only points against NC State when he returned a fumble 84 yards for a touchdown, giving him three for his career...recorded double-digit tackles in five games, including four of the last six...had a career-high 16 tackles versus NC State and 15 against Wake Forest, also broke up seven passes, forced three fumbles and had four tackles for loss.

Sophomore Year (2001): Ranked fourth in the ACC and tied for the team lead with three interceptions...led the Seminole defense in scoring with two touchdowns...ranked fourth on the team in tackles with 81...had 37 unassisted and 44 assisted tackles...had a momentum turning 23-yard interception return for a touchdown against Maryland in the Seminoles' 52-31 victory...also returned a fumble 73 yards for a touchdown against No. 1 Miami...had 11 tackles against Clemson and Maryland...recorded six tackles for loss (-17 yards) ...recovered two fumbles...credited with one quar-terback hurry and four pass break-ups...totaled five tackles (three unassisted), two tackles for loss and a sack in the win over Virginia Tech in the Gator Bowl.

Freshman Year (2000): FSU's top tackler on kickoff teams...suffered an ankle injury early in the season that cut into his playing time...21st on the team with 21 tackles, including 15 solo...forced two fumbles on the season including one on the opening kickoff at Miami...had two solo tackles and an assist in his season-high performance against Florida...used speed to cover the backs out of the backfield.
