At Florida State: Returns for his senior season as the third team center...had shoulder surgery during the off-season and participated in spring drills...will compete with freshman David Castillo and junior Antoine Mirambeau for playing time...should provide valuable depth at the position which lost starter Jarad Moon...sat out the 1998 season after transferring from Division I-AA power Georgia Southern...originally played guard but moved to center during the spring of 1999.

Junior Year (2000): Saw limited action due to a shoulder injury.

Sophomore Year (1999): Gained valuable experience at center as backup to Eric Thomas and Jarad Moon...majority of playing time came as a member of FSU's special teams.

1998: Sat out the season as a redshirt after transferring from Georgia Southern.

High School: Three-year starter and four-year member of the varsity team while at Mitchell-Baker High School...was a three-time first team All-Southwest Georgia selection...earned first team all-region and all-state honors as a senior...helped his team to the state playoffs all four years and was a member of the state championship team as a freshman...started at center and guard on offense and tackle on defense...selected to play in the Florida-Georgia All-Star game but a sprained ankle kept him from participating...did play in the Georgia North-South All-Star game...signed with Georgia Southern as a senior, selecting the Eagles over Furman...also a member of the baseball, golf, and track and field teams in high school.
