Following its season opening 91-67 win over Jacksonville on Friday night, the Florida State basketball team travels to play at UCF at the CFE Arena in Orlando on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. The game between the Seminoles and the Knights marks the first time Florida State will play a true road game at UCF in the 10-game history of the series which dates back to Nov. 28, 1980. In the series, which Florida State leads 9-0, seven of the first nine games in the series have been played in Tallahassee on the Seminoles' home court with two having been played on neutral courts in the city of Orlando. The Seminoles took a 101-67 win over UCF on Dec. 29, 1987 and a 97-64 win over the Knights on Dec. 28, 1988 in games played at the Orange County Convention Center. Following Wednesday's game against UCF, the Seminoles will play host to UT Martin on Nov. 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Center.

Bernard James was limited in the 'Noles' season-opener with an injured ankle but he showed no signs of that ailment Monday night in FSU's 73-50 defeat of UCF.
Florida State will hit the road to battle UCF on November 13 in its first road game of the season. The game will mark Florida State's first appearance at CFE Federal Credit Union Arena and the first true road game in the history of the series which began with a 57-41 win over the Knights on Nov. 28, 1980. The Seminoles are 9-0 against UCF with seven of the victories coming in the Donald L. Tucker Center and two at neutral sites. The Seminoles' game against UCF will be its first against a team from the newly formed American Athletic Conference which reorganized as the AAC on July 1, 2013. Florida State last played a current member of the AAC on March 18, 2012 when it met Cincinnati in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. The Bearcats took a 62-56 victory at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville in that game. UCF is coached by Donnie Jones.
WHITE LEADS FIVE SEMINOLES IN DOUBLE FIGURES IN SEASON OPENING WIN
Senior Okaro White led five Seminoles in double figures with 18 points and pulled down a career-high tying 11 rebounds as Florida State opened the 2013-14 season with a 91-67 win over Jacksonville on Friday night in Tallahassee. White was joined by sophomore Devon Bookert with 16 points, sophomore Montay Brandon with 15 points and senior Robert Gilchrist and sophomore Aaron Thomas with 10 points each. It marked the 12th time in the last two seasons and 16th time in his career that White has led the team in scoring. It also marked the first time since the Seminoles' 80-72 victory over Clemson on March 4, 2012 that Florida State had five players score in double figures in the same game.
SEMINOLES' 91 POINTS AGAINST JACKSONVILLE MOST IN OPENER SINCE 1996-97
Florida State scored 91 points in its season opening victory over Jacksonville - the most points scored in a season opener by the Seminoles since a 96-70 win over Southeastern Louisiana on Nov. 22, 1996 - the season opener for the 1996-97 season.
FLORIDA STATE'S TRADEMARK DEFENSE RETURNING
Florida State limited Jacksonville to 67 points and a .411 field goal shooting percentage (including .370 in the second half) while blocking five shots and earning 11 steals in its season-opening victory over the Dolphins. During the 2012-13 season, the Seminoles allowed an average of 68.6 points per game and allowed their opponents to shoot .437 from the field. The Seminoles held their first three opponents of the season (one regular season game and two exhibition games) to a .376 (68-181) shooting percentage from the field. The Seminoles also forced an average of 18.3 turnovers per game in the three games including 25 in their regular season opening victory over Jacksonville.
WHITE APPROACHES 1,000 CAREER POINTS
Senior All-American Okaro White scored 18 points in the Seminoles' season-opening win over Jacksonville and enters Wednesday's game with 930 career points - he needs only 70 to reach 1,000 for his career. White enters Wednesday's game against UCF averaging 8.9 points per game for his1 04-game career and averages 12.5 points in his last two seasons and 35 games played. White scored his career high of 420 points / 12.4 ppg) as a junior during the 2012-13 season.

FLORIDA STATE'S RECENT GAMES IN THE CITY OF ORLANDO
Florida State has won 10 of its last 12 games played in Orlando including winning three games and the championship of the Old Spice Classic during the 2009-10 season The Seminoles enter Wednesday's game against UCF having won six consecutive games that have been played in Orlando. Ironically, the Seminoles have played 21 games in Orlando since the 1977-78 season (with a 16-5 record and a .762 winning percentage), but have only played UCF twice in its home city of Orlando. The Seminoles defeated the Knights, 101-67, in the second round of the Citrus Bowl Classic on Dec. 29, 1987 and topped UCF 97-64, in the first round of the Red Lobster Classic on Dec. 28, 1988.
WHITE INCREASES HIS FREE THROW SHOOTING PERCENTAGE
Senior Okaro White, who made each of his final five free throws of the game against Jacksonville, enters Wednesday's game against UCF shooting .801 from the free throw line for his career. He is looking to become only the sixth player in school history to shoot 80 percent or better from the free throw line for his career. White is shooting .817 (125-153) from the free throw line in the past two seasons and has shot 80 percent or better form the line in two of the first three seasons of his career.
