TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) - Florida State, which has won three consecutive home games, plays host to NC State on Senior Night on Saturday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker in Tallahassee. The Seminoles will honor their three seniors - Joey Moreau, Ralfi Portuondo and Michael Snaer - as they play their final regular season game of the 2012-13 season. In playing host to NC State, the Seminoles will play their 18th regular season ACC game of the season - a school record in this, the first season each of the members of the ACC will play 18 regular season games. Florida State will play in the 60th Annual ACC Tournament beginning Thursday night at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C. as either the No. 6 or No. 7 seed in the tournament meaning they will play in either the 7:00 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. game on the first night of event. Florida State's first round opponent has yet to be determined. The Seminoles enter the 2013 ACC Tournament as the reigning ACC Champion after winning the tournament championship at Philips Arena in Atlanta in March of 2012.

SNAER ADDS TO HIS LEGACY AGAINST VIRGINIA
All-American Michael Snaer added to his growing legacy at Florida State as he made a game-winning, driving lay-up with 4.4 seconds left in regulation on Thursday night to lead the Seminoles to a 53-51 win over Virginia. His driving lay-up and ensuing free throw gave him six buzzer-beating, game winning shots over six of the Seminoles' 11 ACC opponents in the last two seasons - Duke, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Maryland, Georgia Tech and Virginia.

FLORIDA STATE CONTINUES TO WIN THE CLOSE ONES
With their two point win over Virginia on Thursday night in Tallahassee, the Seminoles continued to play as the top team in the ACC when it comes to winning close games. Florida State has now won seven straight games and earned seven of its eight ACC wins by five points or less.

SEMINOLES WITH THREE CONSECUTIVE WINS AT HOME
Florida State enters Saturday's game against NC State with three consecutive wins at home in the Donald L. Tucker Center - a 69-66 win over Boston College (February 16), a 76-62 win over Wake Forest (February 26) and its 53-51 win over Virginia (March 7).

FLORIDA STATE SUCCESSFUL ON SENIOR DAY
Florida State enters Saturday's game against NC State with a 9-1 record under head coach Leonard Hamilton on Senior Day in Tallahassee. The Seminoles are 2-0 against NC State under Hamilton on Senior Day with wins during the 2007 and 2011 seasons. The Seminoles have won eight consecutive Senior Day games in Tallahassee including a victory over No. 1 Duke (79-74) on senior day in 2006. Florida State's win over the No. 1 ranked Blue Devils ranks as one of four all-time wins over the nation's No. 1 ranked team - with three of those wins coming under Hamilton.

FLORIDA STATE DEFENSIVELY IN ITS LAST THREE GAMES
Florida State has blocked 25 shots (8.3 bpg) and been credited with 15 steals (5.0 spg) in its last three games. The Seminoles blocked 12 shots in their win over Wake Forest (February 26) and were credited with seven steals against North Carolina (March 3). Florida State enters Saturday's game against NC State ranked as the ACC leaders in blocked shots (153 / 5.1 bpg) and ranked sixth in the ACC in steals (194 / 6.5 spg). The Seminoles are looking to lead the ACC in blocked shots for the fourth consecutive season.

FLORIDA STATE FROM THE FREE THROW LINE
Florida State enters Saturday's game against NC State as the ACC leaders in free throw percentage shooting with a .730 mark. The Seminoles have made 44 of their last 49 free throws (.898 percent) since the final minute of their game against Virginia Tech (February 26).

Florida State was a near perfect seven of eight from the free throw line against Virginia (including Michael Snaer's final free throw of the game with 4.4 seconds left to seal the Seminoles' 53-51 win over the Cavaliers) and have missed only one free throw in the last two games. The Seminoles have made 15 of their last 16 free throws (.938 percent) in their last two games and 20 of their last 21 (.953 percent) since the 4:46 mark of the second half of their win over Wake Forest (February 26). Florida State is shooting .775 percent from the free throw line in their 16 home games so far this season.
