CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Florida State, which has won two straight and three of its last four games to improve to 17-11 and 8-8 in the ACC, travels north to play at Boston College on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. The game will be played at the Silvio O. Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Mass. The Seminoles enter Tuesday's game having won at Pittsburgh (February 23, 71-66) and at home against Georgia Tech (March 2, 81-71) and are at .500 or better in conference play for the first time since January 29 when it was 4-4 after wins at Clemson (January 9, 56-41), against Maryland (January 12, 85-61), at Miami (January 15, 63-53) and against Notre Dame (January 21, 76-74). Florida State's game against Boston College is its first of the season against Boston College and second trip of the season to the northeast after winning at Pittsburgh on February 23. The Seminoles' game against Boston College also marks their second game of the month of March - they are 9-2 in the regular season in the month of March in the last four seasons. Florida State returns to Tallahassee following its game against the Eagles and will play host to Syracuse (March 9, 2:00 p.m.) in its final regular season game of the 2013-14 season.

SEMINOLES EARN THIRD TOP-50 VICTORY OVER PITTSBURGH
Florida State earned its third victory over a top 50 RPI team this season when it defeated No. 32 Pitt on March 23 on the road at the Peterson Events Center in Pittsburgh. The Seminoles have also defeated top 50 ranked teams then-No. 10 VCU (November 22) and then-No. 19 ranked UMass (December 21).

SEMINOLES SHOOT .524 IN WIN OVER GEORGIA TECH; LEAD ACC IN FG SHOOTING
Florida State shot .524 in its win over Georgia Tech on Sunday night and enters Tuesday's game against Boston College as the leaders in field goal shooting percentage in the ACC. The Seminoles are shooting .4652 from the field as compared to Duke's .4650 shooting mark from the field. Florida State is looking to lead the ACC in field goal shooting percentage for the first time since joining the league for the 1991-92 season. With its .524 shooting mark against Georgia Tech (22 of 42 from the field), the Seminoles have shot 50 percent or better from the field five times and have shot 45 percent or better from the field nine times this season.

THOMAS CONTINUES TO SHINE AS A STARTER
Sophomore All-ACC candidate Aaron Thomas enters Tuesday's game against Boston College averaging a career high 13.7 points per game. He is averaging 17.3 points per game in his last seven games (all as a starter since February 5 against Virginia Tech) and averages 15.7 points scored per game as a starter in eight games this season.

MILLER IN HIS LAST THREE GAMES AS A STARTER
Senior ACC Sixth Man of the Year Award candidate Ian Miller, who has come off of the bench in 23 of the 26 games he has played this season, enters Tuesday's game against Boston College as Florida State's team leader with a career-high 13.9 points per game scoring average. He is averaging 18.7 points scored per game in his last three games with 22 points coming against North Carolina (February 17), 19 coming at Pitt (February 23) and 15 coming against Georgia Tech in the Seminoles' victory over the Yellow Jackets Sunday night in Tallahassee.

MILLER FROM THE BONUSPHERE IN THE LAST THREE GAMES
Senior ACC Sixth Man of the Year Award candidate Ian Miller is shooting .476 from the 3-point line (10 of 21) in the last three games. He is averaging 3.3 made 3-point field goals with five coming in the Seminoles' game against North Carolina (February 17). Miller enters Tuesday's game against Boston College ranked 13th in the ACC in scoring (13.9 ppg), third in the ACC in free throw shooting (.874), third in the ACC in 3-point field goal shooting percentage (.402) and ninth in the ACC in 3-point field goals made per game (2.04). Miller has scored 86.7 percent of his points (305 of 367) and made 43 of his 53 3-point field goals as a reserve in 23 of the 26 games in which he has played for the Seminoles this season.

LOOK FOR FLORIDA STATE TO ...
...Defeat Boston College and win its ninth ACC game of the season. It would mark the school-record sixth consecutive season the Seminoles would reach the nine-win plateau in the ACC. The Seminoles have won 68 games in ACC play since the start of the 2008-09 season; ...Defeat Boston College and gain its fifth ACC road win of the season. The Seminoles won three ACC road games last season (at Clemson, at Maryland and at Georgia Tech); ...Defeat Boston College and win its second consecutive game against Boston College. The Seminoles defeated the Eagles, 69-66, in Tallahassee last season and have won four of the last five games in their series against Boston College.

FLORIDA STATE AGAINST THE ACC'S NEWCOMERS
Florida State is undefeated against the ACC's newest teams (2-0 against Notre Dame and Pitt) with a game remaining against Syracuse (March 9). The Seminoles are the only team in the ACC with the opportunity to finish the 2013-14 season undefeated against the newest entries into the top league in college basketball history.

SEMINOLES EARN FIFTH DOUBLE DIGIT VICTORY ACC WIN OF 2013-14 SEASON
Florida State earned its fifth double digit ACC win of the 2013-14 season as it defeated Georgia Tech 81-71 (+10) on Sunday night in Tallahassee. The Seminoles have topped Maryland, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Miami and the Yellow Jackets by at least 10 points with two of those wins - at Clemson (January 9, +15) and at Miami (January 15, +10) coming on the road in conference play. Florida State has won 10 games this season by at least 10 points with its largest margin of victory of +44 points coming in its 106-62 win over Charlotte in Tallahassee on December 17.

SEMINOLES MOVE INTO THIRD IN ACC STATISTICS IN FREE THROW SHOOTING
Florida State, which has shot 80 percent or better from the free throw line in five of its last eight games, enters Tuesday's game against Boston College shooting .726 from the line for the season. The Seminoles shot .838 from the line and made its season high of 31 free throws in its win over Georgia Tech on Sunday night. Florida State made 22 of its 25 second half free throws including nine of 10 in the final four minutes of its win over Georgia Tech. The Seminoles led the ACC in free throw shooting percentage in both 2007 and 2008.
