The Seminole enter Wednesday's game against the Tigers looking to win their second consecutive conference road game after winning at Boston College on Jan. 30 (61-57). Florida State won its 2009-10 ACC opener on the road at No. 15/22 Georgia Tech on Dec. 20 (66-59 in overtime). The Seminoles most recently won consecutive ACC road games last season when they won at Virginia (Jan. 24) and at Clemson (Feb. 7). Florida State enters its game at Clemson having won two of its last three games with victories at Boston College and at home against Miami to raise its ACC win total to five with seven regular season conference games remaining before the ACC Tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum (March 11-14). The Seminoles are 6-6 on the road in ACC play in the last two seasons with victories at Boston College (Jan. 30, 2010, 61-57), Clemson (Feb. 7, 2009; 65-61), Georgia Tech (Dec. 20, 2009, 66-59 in overtime), NC State (Jan. 13, 2009; 78-65), Virginia (Jan. 24, 2009; 73-62) and Virginia Tech (Feb. 21, 2009, 67-65). Following Wednesday's game at Clemson, the Seminoles return home to face Boston College on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. for a game nationally televised by Fox Sports. Each of the Seminoles final eight games of the season - beginning with last Saturday night's victory over Miami - will be televised nationally.

ALL-ACC DEFENSIVE TEAM CANDIDATES ALABI AND SINGELTON
All-ACC Defensive team candidates Solomon Alabi and Chris Singleton combined for three blocked shots and three steals in the Seminoles' 71-65 victory over Miami on Saturday. Alabi recorded his 56th blocked shot of the season while Singleton now has 52 steals and 39 blocked shots. Alabi and Singleton have combined for 63 steals and 95 blocked shots in the first 23 games of the season. Alabi is ranked second in blocked shots for the entire season with 56 in 23 games and second in blocked shots in ACC play with 17 in eight games. Singleton leads the ACC in total steals in all games (52) while ranking fifth in total blocked shots for the entire season (39) and first in total blocked shots in ACC games only (20).

AN INTERESTING DEFENSIVE NOTE
Entering Wednesday's game against Clemson, none of Florida State's freshmen (Pierre Jordan, Terrance Shannon, and Michael Snaer), sophomores (Xavier Gibson, Luke Loucks, Deividas Dulkys, and Chris Singleton) or junior Derwin Kitchen has played in a game as a Seminole when Florida State has allowed its opponent to shoot 50 percent or better from the field. The Seminoles have held their last 59 opponents (every opponent since March 18, 2008) below 50 percent shooting from the field. All-ACC candidate Solomon Alabi, who played hurt during the first 10 games of his career during the 2007-08 season before taking a medical redshirt, has played in only two games when the Seminoles have allowed their opponent to shoot better than 50 percent from the field.

LOOK FOR FLORIDA STATE TO...
...Defeat Clemson and win its fourth consecutive game against the Tigers. It would mark the Seminoles' longest winning streak against the Tigers since the 1994, 1995 and 1996 seasons when they won a program best six consecutive games against Clemson; ...Defeat Clemson and win its third ACC road game of the season. It would make the Seminoles the first team in the ACC this season to win three ACC games away from home.

SEMINOLES ON THE ROAD IN THE ACC
Florida State is tied as the second winningest team in ACC road games in the last two seasons and enters Wednesday's game against Clemson looking to win their seventh ACC road game in the last two seasons. North Carolina, with seven ACC road wins in the last two seasons, is the winningest ACC team on the road since the start of the 2008-09 season. The Seminoles are currently tied with Duke and Wake Forest for the second highest total of conference road wins in the last two seasons.

FLORIDA STATE AGAINST THE CURRENT TOP-25
Florida State is 2-2 against the teams currently ranked in the nation's top 25 of the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Top 25 polls. The Seminoles have two victories over No. 20/20 Georgia Tech (Dec. 20, 68-66 in overtime and Jan. 24, 68-66) and have played both Duke and Ohio State on the road.

Led by five rebounds each by All-ACC Defensive team candidate Solomon Alabi and guards Derwin Kitchen and Luke Loucks, Florida State outrebounded Miami, 32-30, in its victory over the Hurricanes on Saturday night in Tallahassee. The Seminoles are ranked third in the ACC (overall and in conference games only) in rebounding margin with a +6.3 margin for the entire season. The Seminoles are 15-4 when they outrebound their opponent and 2-2 when they are outrebounded. Florida State has outrebounded seven of its nine ACC opponents including Georgia Tech twice (+eight on Dec. 20 and + two Jan. 24) and Duke (+10 on January 27).
