TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) - Florida State, which has won three of its last four games against nationally ranked Duke teams, plays host to the Blue Devils in the only meeting between the two teams on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2:00 at the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee. The game will be broadcast nationally by ESPN. Florida State enters Saturday's game against Duke fresh from another dramatic come-from-behind victory over Maryland on Wednesday night in Tallahassee on All-American Michael Snaer's fourth career game-winning, buzzer-beating 3-point shot with 1.1 seconds remaining on the clock to give the Seminoles the 73-71 win. The Seminoles trailed by as many as eight points and led for a total of 1:17 in the second half before taking the lead for good and winning the game on Snaer's shot - his second buzzer-beating shot in the last week. Snaer also made the buzzer-beating, game winning shot to shoot down Clemson on January 24. The Seminoles enter Saturday's game against Duke having won two of their last three games with their wins over Clemson and Maryland and bring a 4-3 record in ACC play into Saturday's game. Following Saturday's game against Duke, the Seminoles travel to play at Georgia Tech (February 5, 9:00 p.m.) and at Wake Forest (February 9, Noon) before playing host to Miami on February 13 in their next game at home.

FLORIDA STATE'S RECENT SUCCESS AGAINST DUKE
Florida State enters Saturday's game against Duke with three wins in its last four games against the Blue Devils - the best four game stretch by the Seminoles in the 40-game series that began in 1954. The Seminoles defeated the Blue Devils on January 12, 2011 in Tallahassee (66-61), won in Durham on January 21, 2012 (76-73) and defeated Duke on March 10, 2012 (62-59) to advance to the championship game of the ACC Tournament. The Seminoles beat North Carolina, 85-82, on March 11 to win the first ACC Tournament Championship in school history.

A 4-GONE CONCLUSION - SNAER HITS THE GAME WINNER AGAINST MARYLAND
All-American Michael Snaer, the national leader in game-winning, buzzer-beating 3-point shots, added to his legacy on Wednesday night in Tallahassee when he shot down Maryland with a game-winning shot from the 3-point line with just 1.1 seconds left in the game. His shot brought the Seminoles all the way back from as much as an eight point deficit to the heart-pounding 73-71 win. In addition to Snaer's final buzzer beating 3-point shots during his career, he also hit a first half ending buzzer beater against Duke on January 21, 2012 which drew the Seminoles to an eight point deficit (32-26) at the intermission and set up a second buzzer-beating game-winning shot to win that game in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

WHITE TIES FLORIDA STATE RECORD FOR PERFECTION
Junior Okaro White tied a Florida State record for perfection as he was 10 of 10 from the free throw line in Florida State's win over Maryland on Wednesday. He tied the school record for best free throw percentage in an ACC game and became only the fourth Florida State player to finish perfect in an ACC game on at least 10 free throw attempts.
