RALEIGH, N.C. -- Florida State committed just two turnovers in the second half but the Seminoles' ball security wasn't enough to avoid an 84-66 loss at NC State Tuesday night.

In the end, FSU's (14-12, 6-7 Atlantic Coast Conference) ability to better protect the basketball wasn't enough to make up for the 'Noles' issues on the inside. The Wolfpack (19-7, 8-5) wound up out-rebounding the PNC Arena visitors 45-21 and outscoring them in the paint 42-30.

Twenty-one of NC State's rebounds were on the offensive end and FSU lost the second-chance-points battle 29-6. Both teams had a total of 14 turnovers.

The Seminoles shot 43.1 percent from the field as Michael Snaer led the way with 20 points on a 3-of-4 mark from 3-point range -- his second game scoring at least 20 points in as many games after not hitting that number in ACC play prior to FSU's 69-66 win over Boston College three days ago.

Okaro White added 13 points and Ian Miller came off the bench to score 11 of his own. Aaron Thomas finished with nine points and a team-high five rebounds and Devon Bookert posted six points and three assists.

For the Wolfpack, two players registered double-doubles with T.J. Warren shooting 12-of-15 for 31 points to go along with his 13 rebounds. C.J. Leslie also had 19 points and 10 boards and Lorenzo Brown had nine assists to go with his nine points. Scott Wood had 13 points.

The loss marked FSU's first setback in Raleigh, N.C. in the last five games.

Next up for the 'Noles is another road game; this time at Virginia Tech Sunday at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
