ON RUTLEDGE:: Played on two NCAA Tournament teams during his two year letter winning career as a Seminole...earned the honor of playing in and scoring the first 3-point shot of his career to help Florida State defeat No. 5 Notre Dame in the NCAA Tournament to help the Seminoles to advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1993 and for only the fourth time in school history...played in eight games as a Seminole in his two seasons as a member of the team - Florida State was 8-0 in those games...played in one victory over a ranked team (No. 5 Notre Dame in the 2011 NCAA Tournament) and was a member of two teams that defeated six ranked teams during his career...Included in those teams were No. 1 Duke (Jan,. 12, 2011) for the fourth ever win over a No. 1 ranked team in school history and No. 20 Texas A&M and No. 5 Notre Dame in back to back games in the 2011 NCAA Tournament...was added to the Seminoles' roster in December of 2010 and earned playing time in four games during his first season on the roster...a strong practice player who is a real asset to the scout team that helped the Seminoles prepare for each upcoming opponent.

AS A SENIOR: Averaged 1.3 points (12th on the team) and 0.5 rebounds (13th) while playing in a career high tying four games...earned playing time in four games - Stetson (Dec. 15), in both regular season games against Wake Forest (Feb. 1 and Feb. 19) and against No. 5 Notre Dame (March 20) in the NCAA Tournament...his play during the season and his work in practice helped Florida State finish with a 23-11 record, in third place in the ACC with an 11-5 record, with a national ranking as high as No. 18 and with a school record tying third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance...scored a single season career high of five points in four games as points came in wins over both Wake Forest (Feb. 19) o n the road and against Notre Dame on at the United Center in Chicago in the third round of the NCAA Tournament...totaled his career high of three points on his first career made 3-point shot in the Seminoles' NCAA Tournament victory over No. 5 ranked Notre Dame.. Florida State was 4-0 when Rutledge appeared in a game for the Seminoles during the 2010-11 season...his career high of three minutes played came in Florida State's victory over Stetson (Dec. 15) in Tallahassee...the Seminoles won the game, 97-63...(vs. Wake Forest): Averaged 1.0 point and 1.0 rebound in two games against Wake Forest during the Seminoles' regular season sweep over the Deacons...the Seminoles won in Tallahassee and on the road in Winston-Salem...played one minute in Florida State's 85-61 win over the Deacons at home (Feb. 1)...attempted a career high tying two shots and pulled down a career high one rebound in one minute of playing time...also earned one minute of playing time in the Seminoles' 84-66 win on the road (Feb. 19)...scored his first career basket as Florida State won the ACC road game...his lay-up came a lay-up with two seconds remaining in the game...he scored his basket after grabbing his first career offensive rebound and going right back up to the basket...his basket gave Florida State their final margin of victory...(in one game during the NCAA Tournament): scored three points on a perfect one of one shooting from the 3-point line in the Seminoles third round victory over Notre Dame (March 20)...the game was played in the United Center in Chicago and launched the Seminoles into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament... his 3-point shot came with 14 seconds remaining in the Seminoles' win and put the exclamation point on one of the biggest wins in school history to send the Seminoles to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament...his basket put the Seminoles up by their final margin of victory, 71-57...earned two minutes of playing time in the Seminoles' historic win...

AT SHELTON STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Earned his Associates Degree from Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, Ala in 2009...averaged 14.0 points and 5.0 rebounds as the Bucs advanced to the NJCAA Quarterfinals at the championship tournament played in Hutchinson...Shelton State finished with a 2-1 record in the championship tournament...was at the same national tournament as current Seminole teammate Jon Kreft who was playing for Chipola Junior College...

AT MACLAY: Graduated from Maclay High School in Tallahassee in 2008...a three-year starting member of the Maclay varsity for three seasons...a starter at the forward position during both his junior and senior seasons...led the Marauders to the state championship game during his junior season...Maclay won three district championships during his career on the varsity team at the school...earned All-City honors by the Tallahassee Democrat as a senior as he averaged 17.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game...was selected to the All-Tournament team at the Maclay Tournament as both a junior and a senior...
