ON WHITE: A guard on Florida State's NIT Final Four basketball team and a defensive back and special teams performer on Florida State's National Championship football team...an amazing year for White as a freshman during the 2013-14 fall and spring season as he played as a member the Seminoles' NIT Final Four team that played in Madison Square Garden and the Seminoles' football national championship team that played in the Rose Bowl...played in two of the most famous venues in all of sports in the same year...became the second player in school history to play in a college football national championship game and in the ACC Basketball Tournament in the same year...White played on the punt and kickoff return teams for the Seminoles as they defeated Auburn, 34-31, to win the 2013 BCS National Championship and earned playing time against both Maryland and Virginia in the 2014 ACC Tournament...the great Charlie Ward quarterbacked Florida State past Nebraska in the 1993 National Championship game and scored 10 points and pulled down four rebounds against North Carolina in the ACC Basketball Tournament on March 11, 1994...is on a football scholarship at Florida State...joined the Seminole men's basketball team after playing in 13 of 14 games in helping the Seminole football team to the 2013 National Championship...he was a significant contributor on special teams and played in both the Seminoles' win over Duke in the ACC Championship game and in their National Championship victory over Auburn in a game played in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif...on numerous occasions he was on the bench for the Seminole basketball team after having practiced that same day with the Seminole football team...met the Seminoles in New York of the NIT semifinals at Madison Square Garden after practicing with the football team...flew to New York at night after practicing with the football team in the afternoon the day before the Seminoles' game against Minnesota in the NIT...a tenacious defender on the perimeter and a solid shooter...
